Are things settling down
Or warming up?
This would seem to be the question of our time.
But, of course, it isn't
Our Time.

So, the world has collapsed
The question is
What will they try to rebuild it as?

As if nothing happened?

Bound to fail

Good luck all the same

Ah,  2009.

I am not sure much should be said about it
yet.

But doubtless it will be more of the same:
unpredictable, disappointing, with well orchestrated
heartwarming moments,
true doubt and significant misgivings.

Which is as it should be.

Expect no privileges

I understand that this
is the time of year
that comments and predictions
are expected.

Not by me
of course,
so if you have any
please keep them to yourself.

Nevertheless best wishes
for whatever it is
you wish for,
but as the saying goes:
best be careful what that is.

So, the world is new again.
I find that cheering.
Although the sound of too many press men cheering
is somewhat deafening.
Nevertheless we should all take it as
an opportunity to do more thinking.
But don't wait for the next one
before you do some more.
Thinking I mean.

I see we are still at war.

Nothing original about that.

If you have something original for us, do write it down somewhere if not here.

If here, make sure it really is original.

best blurts to you too, Tug

Good day to you

The day that might be good, or not,
as the case may be,
will not last forever
but there will be another
and if you miss it
you may miss the next one too.
No matter,
another one will come along
and it may very well
be empty
